Hey! Does anyone know if it is possible to upload a website to my Ftp host? I have heard Muse is dying off slowly..
In case it is possible: what did you put in ‘folder on server‘? What‘s a folder on Server?

Well, it depends on your hosting if you need "folder on server". A folder on server might ne needed for either a subdomain like www.yourdomain.com/folderonserver . To this location could be uploaded a testsite or so. In most cases, depending on your ftp settings this is not needed because your ftp may have its domain located in htaccess or something similar and therefor this field could be left blank.
Of course it is still possible to publish via ftp what I proof every day almost for some sites to be done new and some to be edited. I know that Muse is under EOL but I know what I do and have some alternatives in the line but still for my purposes Muse is the best, easiest and fastest way.
If you need any further support let us know.
Kind Regards,
Uwe

Ask your web hosting provider for your log-in credentials and root folder. Some hosts designate the root folder as public_html/ or htdocs/ or www/ while others have no root folder at all. It varies a lot by web host and the type of hosting plan you have (eg. Linux/Apache, WinIIS, Nginx, etc...).
If you cannot upload files from Muse, get free FileZilla S/FTP client. Unlike Muse, FileZilla is actively supported and updated with the latest security technologies.
When you're ready to divorce yourself from Muse, consider one of these modern code editors:
-- Adobe Dreamweaver CC - https://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver.html
-- Atom (free) - https://atom.io/
-- Codespaces (free, browser-based) - https://github.com/features/codespaces
-- Nova (Mac only, formerly called Coda) - https://nova.app/
-- Pinegrow - https://pinegrow.com/
-- Sublime Text - http://www.sublimetext.com/
-- Visual Studio Code (free) - https://code.visualstudio.com/
-- Wappler ~ Visual Web App Builder - https://wappler.io/
Hope that helps.
