Hi,
So I created a auto lightbox and inside that lightbox I put a basic form.
When the form loads in the light box I get these coloured lines across the submit button, the first pic is 'Hover' state and the second is 'normal' state. The lines go away when I click the button.
Anyone know what this could be??

What what can be? Coloured lines? When? In the browser? In which browser?

Sorry, before I got finished the image was still loading, so forget my answer.
No I have no idea about that lines. Did you check all states? like normal-rollover-click-active?

I have checked ALL states on ALL elementsa. Box, text, form, everything.
The only thing I can think it may be is a conflict in code. I'm happy to upload my muse file if anyone wants to help me out!?

Could you provide a link? You may have uploaded it to a subfolder on ftp? Does this occur when you preview or preview in browser? In which browser? You may also create your own submit button. Did you check this?

What's the URL to your online site?

Remove all button styles. You have competing button styles in your code, most notably backgrounds and borders.

Can you show me where in the code that is simpering code? Surely I can have different styles on different buttons??

Open page in browser. Use F12 to Inspect Element.

Yeah I know how to view the code and I have scanned over it but can't see what you mean by competing button styles, I meant could you show me where in my code you can see competing styles please?
Thanks

Why don`t you follow the advice from Nancy and delete all button styles and create like you want it? This is by far easier than doing the code with your muse site.
If you are sure what to do you may open up the exported html in Pinegrow or similar web-code-editor, watch out for the lines you need and check BUT be aware that everytime you upload your site again even because of minor changes, this must be done over and over again, so this is not very usefull of course.
You also will loose IBE if you will ever need it.
So better keep with Nancy´s advice and recreate the corresponding button.
Best way - delete it and create new one from scratch.
Kind Regads,
Uwe

A week later and you're still stuck on this?
I don't know how showing you the CSS code will help you resolve the problems. You need to start over with a new contact form that doesn't contain any button styles.

Well this isn't my full time job so my apologies for taking my time.
thanks for your advice but I'm getting a vibe you're not too patient so I'll figure it 👌🏻
cheers.

I do understand. But Muse is a terrible tool to use especially since it's End of Life and no longer supported. My advice is to start over without Muse and find a modern web authoring system your can use. Or learn to work with code. Either way, you'll be in a much better place than you are right now.
