How does one add a Non-Adobe Animate Animation to a Muse Website

I've created a animation in Apple Keynote ...

I can convert this animation to various output formats, including but not limited to:

  • .m4v
  • .html
  • Powerpoint

I have tried the HTML routine of:

<video width="320" height="240" controls >

  <source src="assets/<[fileNameHere]" type="video/m4v">

</video>

The space seems to be designated but the implementation does not seem to work in preview mode.

Without telling me to go download Adobe Animate (and rent that for ever and ever and ever) can some one tell me the procedure to mount a local file animation on to a Muse project.  If I can figure this out ... Then I can open a whole new window of ideas up for my website work.

Maybe I do not quite understand, but video and animation are different things. If you export an animation from Apple Keynote to .mp4 you will get just a video, like any other video. If you want to embed the animation, then you need to export from Apple Keynote to html. And to embed this html in Muse. For this you need html knowledge and knowledge as it integrates into the Muse. If you do not have this knowledge, then you will need the help of a specialist ... Or use Animate CC .

Hi Peter,

As per your description, the animation has been created in Apple Keynote and you want same to implement on your Muse site.

However, I would like to inform you that not all the video formats are supported by WEB.

Here is a list of all that are supported - Media formats supported by the HTML audio and video elements.

For choosing the HTML way of embedding your video the format should be .mp4

Rest you have followed the correct process of embedding the video.

Please update the thread if it helps.

Regards,

Ankush

Ankush -

It sounds like I am one step away to solving this.

I'll need to figure out how to convert the Apple .m4v format over to the .mp4 format.

Umm ... At least I know I am on the right track.

Thanks for the response.
