How the &#^)@ do I update Muse?

Every time I open Muse it asks me if I want to update.  I click the update button and the window closes and nothing happens.  I went to the Adobe site and still could not get an update to work.

Hi Chris,

Please follow the instructions mentioned in this doc - Update Creative Cloud apps. 

It seems that Creative Cloud app is not active on your system.

Install the Creative Cloud app:

Open it and click menu (3 dots upper right)

Check for Apps Updates

App will switch to the apps tab and show any updates waiting.

I finally was able to successfully install the 2018 version.  I am now able to upload my site to the FTP address.  Thanks for all your responses.  I don't know what was going wrong.  Definitely not a straight forward interface for installing new software.  Perhaps I won't have the same problem in the future.
