Hi there,

I´m running an online platform, which is about visual storytelling in the field of sustainable food production.

I have tons of high quality photos on my page. The desktop version functions very well and shows very sharp photos. But the same photos appear very blurred on my mobile version. I tried to scale the photos for the mobile version down, but it seems to me that the result is even worse.

I´d like to have sharp photos, even when zooming in.
Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your support!

Cheers,

Janina

If you place your images with the exact same size as they have originally, Muse doesn’t change anything with your images.

  • Addition 1: You write „I’d like to have sharp photos, even when zooming in“. This isn’t possible. Web sites use an image of a defined size per page/breakpoint. By zooming in, the browser uses the exact same image data. It has no other data than these. Zooming an image, necessarily means loss of image quality.
