How to display page elements and images while page is loading (NOT a preloader)

Hi everyone,

I've put together an image-heavy site in Muse 2017 for the first time. For some reason, the page does not get displayed in the browser until all images and the rest of the elements of the page are done loading. How do I change this? I've tried opening the site in different browsers and on different computers, but it makes no difference - so it can't just be the local browser settings.

I would like the various elements of the page to load, the images at the top of the page included, and already be displayed in the browser. For instance, there is a larger gallery way at the bottom of the page, but while that gallery keeps loading, the user should already see the rest of the page and start navigating. By the time he gets to the bottom of the page some 10-20 seconds later, those images in the gallery would be ready as well.

Thanks in advance!

This can not be changed with the help of some button in the settings. Starting from CC 2015.2 Muse so works - only the full page is loaded as soon as all the elements are ready. You can change something only using custom javascript if you are a web programmer.

Thanks Pavel! You don't happen to have any recommendations where I might find the relevant code online, i. e. how to type this out in Javascript?
