I want to embed a background video in to my site (Preferably locally, it will avoid the hassle of uploading my video to youtube  etc...), somewhat like this  https://mediaboom.com/#/home  I  would also would like for it to be responsive Also by the way if anyone can answer this question when can we expect scroll effects for fluid/responsive design? Thank you :  )

Or check out this how to video...

I normally don’t like using you tube either for various reasons ...this technique does use YouTube but watch the video anyway and check it out ...it’s not bad. Michael gives some good reasons for this technique.  And it will reserve some resources for loading your site.

To have a fullscreen video  and scrollable content below you would need a 3rd party widget. Watch out at musewidgets.com /

https://musewidgets.com/collections/widgets/video

Scroll effects with fluid responsiveness will take a while. There´s no date.

Best Regards,

Uwe
