Hello,
I am looking for a way to create menu similar to this one here: A major academy of realist drawing and painting in Paris
In which the navigation menu dropdown list is a series of anchors on one page rather than a dropdown list of different pages under the nesting page.
You can click one of the dropdown menu icons and on the page it also has a navigation on the left of the different anchor points on the page.
Looking for a widget or way to do this! Thank you!
This is just one way: Adobe Creative Cloud
This is done with a composition. It is very flexibel from menu items, to menu item – expandable with pictures if you like.
There might be more ways.
You could think about having the same neu on all pages or individual menus on each page.
So you might have only the dropdown of the actual page but not from all other pages for example.
Best Regards,
Uwe

Inspecting deeper I found that there are just two different kind of menus on your example.
The normal horizontal menu with dropdown – leads always to another page.
And a vertical menu on each page for anchored links. Not too difficult, I hope.

You can do it directly in muse without any third-party widget.
>Make a Dropdown menu using Menu widget or Composition widget from the widget library.
(if you are using Menu widget, change the menu type to "Manual" from the widget options)
(if you are using composition, place different text frames for different menu options)
>Then place different anchor in different place of your page.
>Link those text frames/menu items to those particular anchor(automatically show up in the hyperlink dropdown)
Thanks

Like my example - but with the menu widget you won`t have the rollover dropdown effect. Not even if you choose "manually".
Still there are two different menus in the example from "Paris". A horizontal for linking to pages and the vertical menu on each page for the anchored links.
So first it is a question of organization, then erikademartini then she has to decide how to do the menu.
Best Regards,
Uwe
