Increase portion of page associated with an anchor

Hi, I have two anchors on a long page an I want the top one to control an active state for a circle, by adding its hyperlink to the circle and enabling active states for anchor links in the site properties. The other anchor is for a button that causes the page to scroll down until the anchor is reached at the top of the screen, this again uses a hyperlink. This system works, however the anchors a less than page's height apart. This means that the circle changes colour when the first anchor point reaches the top of the screen, but then changes back to its non-active state when the second anchor is reached. I want the circle to remain its active state colour until a point further down the page, but muse thinks that the portion of the page associated with the first anchor point, in other words the portion of the page that the circle remains in its active state for, ends after the second anchor point. I need both the anchor points for different things, so how can I change the portion of the page that is associated with the first anchor until it reaches a certain point further down the page.

Thanks!

Try this:increase the page height, so that the anchor has a chance to reach the top left corner of the browser window.

Normally these dots change the color when reaching its anchor position. Why it happens, that your dot looses its white so early?

For this to check, maybe a reduced to one page muse makes it easier to check, as I am still not sure if I understand.

Welcome.

Please provide any link, maybe a screenshot or something like a picture, that tells more than thousands words.

Hi, hope this helps. The first image is the page when the website is on the top (grey) page. The second is when the first anchor (about two thirds of the way down the grey page) has been scrolled past and the second dot turns white. The third image is after the second anchor (which is at the top of the red page and has nothing to do with the dots) has been scrolled past the top of the window and the second dot turns grey when I want it to remain white until later.

Thanks again!

I assume you have checked this in site properties:
