Linking within a Featured News Widget

Hi...  is there any way to link to a specific part of a Featured News Widget?  I don't believe there is any way to do it, but I'm hoping that there is some kind of work around.  Note: I understand one can duplicate a page and create a link, by then specifying the widget part, but this is not an option, as it would exponentially multiply the size of the file and site.

Any clever work arounds this shortcoming of Muse?

No, this isn‘t possible. Just like linking to a specific image within a slide show. I assume, this isn‘t doable in HTML at all.
