Local (non-cloud) legacy version of Muse?

We have started to experience licensing issues now that Muse is no longer supported. We are in the process of shifting over all of our old Muse sites, but we will still want to manage a few legacy sites. Since Adobe is no longer supporting the application, is there any plan to provide a free desktop version for that purpose that does not rely on the product being packaged with CC?

SOLUTION 1:

Forget Muse. Rebuild ALL Muse sites now with other software.

SOLUTION 2:

Get a paid subscription to Creative Cloud ALL apps on the Month-to-Month plan which costs more per month (USD $80/month instead of $53) but you can cancel anytime without penalty fees.

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html

SOLUTION 3:

Get a trial subscription to Creative Cloud ALL apps plan free for 7 days.

On the 8th day of service, your free trial will convert to a paid subscription ($53/month). But don't worry.  You can cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund.  This will give you 2 weeks of free time to export all your Muse projects to HTML so you can edit them in a real code editor like Dreamweaver, Pinegrow, Brackets or Visual Studio Code.   But don't forget to cancel within 14 days.  Otherwise you'll have to pay a 50% early termination fee.

Hopefully one of the solutions above will work for you.

Hi @deettas46630339,

Which operating system do you have?

After upgrading your OS, did you reinstall Muse and restart your computer?

1. Open CC Desktop App.
2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
3. Click on your Avatar again.
4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
5. Close all apps.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Open CC Desktop app.
8. Click your Avatar.
9. Sign-in with your paid ID and password.

If you're on a Teams/Enterprise plan from work or school, please contact your IT dept for assistance.
