So I want the rectangles that are in a state button with responsive text box to scale to the same height of an other state button that is getting bigger.

How I want it to happen: https://i.gyazo.com/9563306fd80704b83908d70e8e5f7c69.mp4

How it is right now: https://i.gyazo.com/4c385ab6f14113286ab03ac5960eccbc.mp4

Is this possible in muse?

Perhaps you should have a close look at the equalizer widget of IVI Design: https://www.ividesign.ch/widgets/equalizer/index.html#demo

If you are not clear if this works for your intentions, ask IVI Design or load the demo widget, which is available by clicking onto the „Free Trial Available“ triangle here: https://www.ividesign.ch/widgets/index.html#!/~/

In your example they used the same amount of space for text although text amount is quite different:Bildschirmfoto 2018-08-27 um 09.45.39.png

Try to give the same space to all text boxes:

Could also be, that there is some accidentally spacing in your text which makes lines break too early for your intention?

Uwe

It didn´t work, because you didn`t change anything. You should enlarge the textfield downwards.

Okay I enlarged them.

But the problem is still there. But the others don't go with the largest box:/

You may download an easy textboxes-file here:  Adobe Creative Cloud

It´s just three text boxe with and some breakpoints to show how it could get solved. The "problem": text boxes grow vertically whe they get reduced in width while graphic elements do not grow vertically  the same way.

Uwe

In my experience I found it easier to use just text boxes and style them as desired.

This works, just as Uwe explained.

Of course this can‘t work infinitely. But this is a logical and not a Muse issue: If the text starts overflowing the given space, the text box is growing vertically and with it the rectangle, on which the text box is placed. This is, how HTML works.

The only solution is, to to make the text boxes as large as possible and use breakpoints for further adjustments.

Okay thank you. It does seem to work on this video though https://i.gyazo.com/9563306fd80704b83908d70e8e5f7c69.mp4 the other rectangles change verticaly like the longest rectangle to keep the same height.

You simply "bridle the horse from the wrong side". The other text boxes do not grow and so does the center text box. The text box in the center is large enough in height so text is able to grow vertically as long as it fits into the text box. The other text boxes don`t have to grow vertically. At the end of your screencast there might be a breakpoint and some rearrangement necessary as in my example which is more common sense than "my suggestion".

Kind Regards,

Uwe
