After building my site, I have a form for submission to our business email.  It tells me server error though, when trying to submit anything to it.  My server host is saying

You need to use mail server authentication, any other method is insecure and will lead to abuse and compromised systems.

You would input the mail server: XXXXXXX then a username and password in order to send email through the mail server.

How can I do this and/or get around this.  Or is he giving me the run around?

I would need to make it work with SMTP authentication.  Is this possible?
