Meta Tags Not Updating When Published

Hello,

My client has recently sent me several new page descriptions for some of the pages on his site. However, when I go into Page Properties, add the descriptions and publish the site...the descriptions do not update. In fact, the descriptions seem to get populated randomly from text on the page. I looked at the html files that Muse creates and they seem to be coded correctly with the correct text. I also checked and these correct html files are uploaded to the server. However, if my client goes to post a link from his site in Facebook for example, the description that pops up is completely wrong.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The meta description should be:

Take & Teach mini-classes provide hands-on seminars and demonstrations by representatives of International Quilt Market exhibitors. View the schedule here!

However, this is what appears (text taken from the page):

7-paper & pencil; 8-rotary cutter, ruler, & mat; 9-permanent marking pens). Numbers 1-6 are required for all sessions marked with an (*).

Hey jeannep,

When did you set up your page descriptions?

Google needs at least one to two weeks in my experience.
