Muse CC Showing White Space below footer and on the right and the left sides

I am new to muse and each time I preview the site I get white space both on the left, right and below the footer, leaving my website floating in the middle of a white abyss. I've searched other forums and followed the remove sticky footer, and also checked for boxes or design elements in that area and there are none, it's driving me crazy. What could I be doing wrong?
