Muse Desktop site not 100% side to side

I am using a responsive template but for some reason I cant get the website on the desktop to go 100% side to side... help

Check your page and its masterpage for element outside/overlapping breakpoint width.

cant find this option anywhere in muse or the breakpoints. Is it called something else?

No, this is not a Muse command! All elements you are placing have to be within the width of your breakpoints/pages. If they aren't, you'll encounter the issues, which you are describing.
