Hey Muse Community,

I got one question. For several days I am desperately trying to add a html widget with an online table for a soccer club. Although I did everything like advised from the external widget provider. The widget doesn't show. I think the problem comes from updating the site to https. And it is now blocking the widget provider website. It says:

[blocked] The page at https://www.tsv-eintracht-stadtallendorf.de/saison.html was not allowed to run insecure content from http://www.fussball.de/static/layout/fbde2/egm//js/widget2.js.

Does anybody have a solution to this problem?

I have a screenshot of the code (which needs to be inserted in head and body) attached to this discussion.

Thanks,

Can you change the URL to HTTPS?  I checked and it does resolve correctly to the widget script on their secure server.

This is definitly something the vendor of that widget should solve, I guess.

Did you try to reupload and UPLOAD EVERYTHING with that code?

Best Regards,

Uwe

the internet has changed after that widget was made... yes the vendor should have something to warn people that most sites need https now instead of http but its not any more secured because it has an S and is just a bs cursade led by Google

the option posted by Nancy should work in this case but it will slow the loading down a bit and they will eventually need to move to a different widget or hosting system
