Hello,
MY Adobe Muse project was sitting on a hard drive, and the hard drive failed and was deemed by the data recovery company as unsalvageable. The .muse project file was not properly backed up on a local computer, so the entire project is lost.
The only thing that exists right now is a full HTML export of the website from Muse.
Is there a way to convert the HTML export back into Muse so that I can edit and alter the project? Is there anything that I can do at this point to salvage the project or build another project that will update the HTML export that I have if needed?
Thanks !
There´s no way to convert a .muse out of html.
Sorry.
Best Regards,
Uwe

How helpful would it be to import the HTML export from Muse into Dreamweaver, then alter it form there if I need to?

Let´s wait for our coders in here.
You could also ask in the Dreamweaver-forum as well.

There is no way to recreate your .muse file from HTML output data. Even if you would succeed opening the output files in Dreamweaver, you can‘t convert this into a working Muse file.
Just think of it like PDF file: You can‘t reconstruct the source data — for example an InDesign file —from this PDF.
