Muse rebuilds thumbnails

Muse rebuilds thumbnails — all of them — each time I save changes. Is this normal? On a 40-page website this takes about 5 minutes. Is there a way to prevent this?

As a 40-page website is quite huge with muse for you to handle, how many pictures are we talking about?

I think there´s no way to prevent this. You save a file. It´s the same in PS, if the file has 36 MP and ten layers, some smart layers the file takes time to save.
