Hi,
I am getting crazy with Adobe Muse ! After uploading my site on BusinessCatalyst, my whole Adobe Muse website changed its width in a weird way !Capture d’écran 2018-09-18 à 09.55.47.png
My site is set to have a width of 1160px and a margin of 20px 20px 20px 20px

and bleed of 0 15px 21px 15px

As you can see on the picture, the dark blue doesn't stop à 1160px as it should. What am I supposed to do ? We have more than 450 pages on this Adobe Muse website ! This is really getting me mad !

I hope someone can find a solution to fix this problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Whether you believe me or not, this happened on its own. I could fix the problem myself by setting the left and right bleed to 0px instead of 15px. I think there is a conflict between iPad and Desktop layout.

In Muse almost nothing happens by itself .

You have to respect the boundaries in a fixed width breakpoints layout.

So this should not happen:

It should be everything inside those blue guides:

Hope that helps – Kind Regards,

Uwe

I assume you decided to use adaptive layout instead of responsive layout?

But I must admit, I have no idea, why Muse changed your layout by its own. Maybe it is a conflict between the different layouts but the different layouts between desktop and tablet and mobile should not touch each other.

Kind Regards,

Yep, we used adaptive layout. In iPad layout we have set a 15px bleed and I remember already experienced that problem on iPad layout where everything just moved 15px to the right. I had to move everything back to the left.

This is not the first time I am experiencing weird things with Muse

It may sound weird, but me, I can only recommend to go with responsive design. Of course to change your site with 450 pages may take a little longer than just one hour .

Kind Regards,
