My text won't copy to another breakpoint.

Hi all,

I'm redesigning a website with about 5-6 breakpoints, because of the layout I have to copy the text from one breakpoint to another, then in the new breakpoint hide the text in all other breakpoints.  Hope that makes sense.  The trouble is, the text is not copying to the next breakpoint but on the same page I am copying the text from, in other words, duplicating the text on the same breakpoint, rather than on the new breakpoint.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Many thanks for any help

Caroline

Not sure, if I understand correctly.

  • I have a text box A.
  • I duplicate it text box A –> text box B.
  • In breakpoint 1 I hide textbox B
  • In breakpoint 2 I hide textbox A

This works with no issues.

Don‘t work that complicated! This is completely unnecessary! You can easily restyle text in different breakpoints — including different font sizes.

Thank you for your reply, yes I know I can format text in each breakpoint but I need the text on a few of the pages to look like it's wrapping around a vertical menu that is on a master page.  So I am using two text boxes to accomplish this.

Hi, thank you again for your reply.  For some odd reason, it has started working.  Sorry about that.
