No support for Vimeo

So, I build a website in Muse, which by the way is incredible painful, only to conclude I can't embed Vimeo video code into Muse.When I try, I get this.

The Video  privacy settings are correct - set to "Anyone." I also tried different videos. Same results. Is there be a fix for this or should I try another host for my video?

Vimeo works fine here! I have many vimeo videos on my sites – no problem at all.

Would you please give us one of the links, you are trying to use on your site? So we can test it.

Could it perhaps be, that you are trying to fill in the Vimeo address into the widget’s „Vimeo-ID“ field, for example:

"https://vimeo.com/123456910“ instead of simply „123456910“?

Additionally, you need to set the option „Who can see the video?“ to „Everybody“, (Translation from German) and

„Where can this video be embedded?“ to „Everywhere“ (Translation from German)

to add on, I use Vimeo all the time and it works fine with Muse

It's not a porn site. I can add vimeo via hyperlink. That's easy. But embedding vimeo code in the player is the issue.

I did this setting. It's my website building and uploading to. I think I may have to delete and reinstall Muse.

If you own the video why not just host it yourself opposed to using Vimeo.

I'm on a shared server with limited bandwidth so Vimeo is a better option for me.

Yes, I had it originally set to share only on my website but I couldn't get that to work so I unblocked for all, which is not what I want but it's the only work around I can find. My latest problem is email so I have to get that working. I think my problems stem from using a downloaded template I bought third party Muse service. I'm thinking now that templates are garbage and I'll have to build from scratch. Regarding my email form, can you recommend a good 3rd party form host to process my email? I used Wufoo in the past and may see that works.

Why not simply use the forms from muse out of the box without any 3rd party?

If you persist for some reason on 3rd party, try jot form.

what do you want the email to do?

I just use hotmail and host with Adobe BC for my email needs but I know code (and the law)

the host server will say what emails | rules you need to follow and if you want say a email that does NOT require the user to give their email address then you will need a custom build server (hosted outside the US) otherwise it will simply get blacklisted as spam.

yes Jot is ok but imo Aobe BC is better

OK, it seems that my issue is that I'm not hosting my website on Adobe BC so I will look into that.
