Have a problem... I want a fixed header pinned to the top of page... the page width is 1200px if the browser width is bigger you see some background and the page is centered. if browser is smaller page is resizing propotional...in the left corner of the page header should be a button which stays there untill the browser window is smaller than 1200px, if the browser window is bigger than 1200px the button should remain at the page border of 1200px an not follow the the browser edge.
But in muse i can only pin to browser width and not to a defined page width ?
does anyone see a solution ?
thaks in advance

That‘s it! I used
Why 2 nested state buttons? It we‘d use only the large state button, the „final“ button would already react, when hovering over the entire page wide area of the large state button widget, what certainly isn‘t expected behaviour.

Are you thinking of something like this:
Is is quite easy to achieve, but unfortunately one has to be really familiar with the exact behaviour of Muse’s built in widgets.
Here you find the associated sample file:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4gg87nhk93iv1qy/page-pinned-button.muse?dl=1
(Attention: There seems to be a tiny bug in Muse. To circumvent this I had to add a small transparent „auxiliary“ rectangle at the bottom of the header construction. But this doesn’t any harm at all …)
Please check the sample file precisely. If you have questions – just ask!

Uups, I misread your post. You were talking about a button at the left side, I “understood“ right side. Congrats to all people, who are able to read! But fortunately this makes no real difference!

ok my button is a menu consider that doesnt make big difference.
Suppose I tried it the same way ..using recangle-tool which is pinned to top and it works like it should concerning the width resizing.
But only the rectangle behaves like fixed...doesnt work like a wrapper with content.
