I have kept my Muse files for reference. I opened Muse for the first time in a long while and up came a Pop Up Window saying Muse would like access to my Documents file. It was late at night, I was stupid and clicked 'OK'. Sooo stupid! Now I have no idea how to reverse this.

Can anyone help me?

I must admit that I cannot see any problem? Starting with "Muse files for reference" - means what? Followed by "Access to my document file" ? Sorry, what exactly do you want to reverse?

Kind Regards,

Uwe

By sad mistake on my part, I clicked OK below.
I want to reverse this and say ‘Don’t Allow’

Is this a legit request from Adobe? or a phishing expedition?
How would I know one or the other?
In ALL my years of using Muse, this is the first time I have received this message.
WHY is it important NOW?

What do I do to reverse?

I still do not see any issue. Sorry for not getting your problem. I don`t know what the problem could be when Adobe or Muse wants to see your document file? I mean, Muse has to have access to your document file, hasn`t it?

Kind Regards,

Uwe

How do I know this request is from Adobe and not a phishing expedition?
And why does Adobe need access to my Documents file?

Isn’t it a best option to deny invasion on one’s computer?

I guess those are the reasons I want to reverse my ‘OK’ to ‘Don’t Allow’
My question is simply, how do I find the window again and change it to Don’t Allow?

Thank you for your help.

If I didn´t get this window ever, I have no clue how to get that window again and change it.

Sorry,

Uwe

I think this is a case of unwarranted hysteria over something that means nothing.  Adobe is NOT asking for permission to access your file.  Your operating system is.  If it bothers you so much, hit the ESC key and shut down your computer.
