publishing to FTP option.. pls help

while i'm upload to FTP host ..
1. should I give "www"   ?

2. should I fill the path here ?

Why don’t you try?

Here the first line needs the complete address: "www. whatever.com“. This address points to your webspace.

The second line contains the folder’s name, if you created one on your web space, to place your site into.

many of tutorials not mentioned to fill the 'folder path'.. in those says that "Just leave it the section"..

What it means ?.. u mean new page to new folder or any new sites to a new folder ?
