"Dropdown" list (not menu) upon clicking

hey guys,

I trying to create a "dropdown" list from a button/object without much sucess.
The list should contain links to other websites or whatever link i want, not sections of my website, so I don't want to call it a menu.
I would also like for this list to appear above/left/right etc. of my button not below.

i've attached an image of what i need. the list should appear only when the button is clicked not on hover.

also it would be great if i don't have to use a third party widget to do this...

Oh. LOL. I realised i can easily do this with the composition widgets and place four different text links on a single triggered area.

The upper one is the most important for you, the "close" is alternative to use, I guess.
