When I place social media icons, which are created in Illustrator CC and saved in svg format, into Muse CC and try to apply a colour to them in the rollover state, it is the image frame to which the colour is being applied. Why am I able to apply colour to the image in Illustrator CC and not in Muse?

Hi ballyd,

If I understand correctly, you want to apply a color to an SVG image in Muse which is imported from Illustrator, correct?

Well if it is your query then I will have to say that you got an expected result from Muse.

As Muse is not an image editing application, you cannot modify any image imported into Muse externally.

Binge SVG, PNG, or JPEG.

However, you can apply rollover states to your social buttons in Photoshop itself and import them into Muse.

See this doc for the relevant tutorial - Using images and other objects in Adobe Muse.
