text/object align issue

i've been using adobe photoshop and illustrator for over 7 years and thought the align tool worked the same in muse but for some reason every time i try to align an object or align text inside an object, literally nothing happens. i have messed with the align settings and still cant get anything done. any help is appreciated.

Muse has nothing to do with graphic editors. All the tools in the Muse work under the laws of css and html. In this environment, there is no such tool as align in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. There is a spacing panel with padding settings  - top, right, bottom, left, align text -  left, right, center.

You can align independent elements in muse using align tool same as you used to do in Ps or Ai

However you can not align, elements inside of other elements.
