I use Muse for my company's website and our font is primarily open sans- now I just realized that it is pulling from Web Fonts not Typekit. Which one should I be using for best page performance? Or does it not matter?

Doesn't matter. If there are specific performance issues, they may be temporary or come down to unfavorable routing, but otherwise there's really no difference.
