Web version cannot be opened because the HTML has been edited outside of Muse

I've uploaded a Muse site for in browser editing via FTP. Everything works, but when changes are made on the online editor I get the following error when trying to sync the changes in Muse "Error: The web version of this site cannot be opened in Muse because the HTML has been edited outside of Muse." Any advice on how I can troubleshoot this error?

My web knowledge is quite basic so I'm not sure where to start. To my knowledge I haven't changed or edited any HTML outside of Muse, unless it's possible something changed during the FTP process?

Any help will be appreciated.

the sync web version ... it does not work  properly.... Preran ,, I do not want to be disgusting with you ... but ...I'm tired of your excuses ... please man ... please .. we're not kids to always tell stories and stories .... why don't you try yourself to see if we are wrong ?  if you do a google search about this problem you will see the discontent that exists in relation to this situation .... it has been going on for almost a year and so far it has not been solved ... please stop treating us like guinea pigs and do your homework ... we are not voiceless servants ... you have to solve the situations not us .... we have to comply with our obligations .... is this what you do?
