I and over 5000 others have signed a Petition to save Adobe Muse, ans would
like know what the Future Plans regarding it. As you are Going to pull the
plug on over 5000 and much Adobe Muse users whom have being using the
Amazing Program to make a Living from.
I know were might just small change to BIG BOYS at ADOBE, but please don't
do this to us. We have check out other Program which you pointed out for us
to use and HONESTLY, none of them come close to Adobe Muse, the
inter-action between the different Adobe Programs and the Bonus
InBrowersEditor which most of my Clients and I'm sure many other designs
will agree is god send as it give the end-user a Simpler way of update
their own websites ie. price list and/or images.
Also the great feature which none of their other Web Design Software don't
have is the freedom to design Website off-line and Upload or Syc when done.
Please check the commons on the below link to the Petition

If you had 500000 signatures, I would agree that the demise of Muse was a tragedy for many, but not for 5000.
The truth is that Muse simply is not up to the job. Google have already started to implement a mobile first policy for its search engine, which means that many sites created in Muse will show the mobile site higher in the listings than the desktop version, and if you have not created some way for desktop users to show the desktop site also, (known as rwd) using the same link, they will ge

As for 'in browser editing', this feature could be implemented by anyone, or by any program that is being offered as an alternative, (its called editable content, and was introduced by Microsoft in IE5). The problem with implementing it is one of cost and server requirerments, which was why it was removed from Dreamweaver way back, (about 2009).
There are also a number of ways that clients could edit and/or create their own content. Unfortunatly though Muse does not support any of them, and would require a complete re-write to do so.
The simple fact is, Muse is dead, and continuing to use it for more than is required, (time required for finding an alternative) does not help users and clients.
I will now sit back and wait for the insults, and people saying I do not understand.

Hi Craig,
I want to be true here and don't want to set any false expectations and that is we don't have any plans to revert our decision regarding Muse EOL.
The much we could do was extend the support period for Muse for another 1 year.
I am sure you might have already gone through through our forums where this discussion has been taken place.
Apart from those discussions we don't have anything in our plate to offer you as of now.
They may come up with solution even better then Muse. But we don't have any official new on that. Till then stay tuned for updates.
Thanks!
Ankush

Early on people made a list of Muse alternatives. Does somebody have a link to that list?
I know there was one that was an app a Muse plug in company was making.
It would be a big help if somebody knew which that was.
Thanks.
