What to do with "Muse was unable to download the replacement image"

I have a site on which the client has updated a Thumbnails slideshow.

The client has changed the thumbnail image and the Hero image each thumbnail corresponds to.

When I try to load the Muse file and sync with the web version, the thumbnail images update in Muse, but the Hero images error out with the message:

"Muse was unable to download the replacement image"

Has anyone else experienced this?

If so, have you found a way to solve the issue or work around it?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone might have.

if the images do show on the website then you can just right click them and download from any browser

Thank you. I did consider that as a last resort work around since there are a fairly large number of images.

Hopefully there is a solution that will correct the issue within Adobe Muse that someone might have?

As far as I know, this suggested workaround is the only option. I have not tried to edit that site recently, so I can't tell you if recent updates fixed the problem. Sorry.
