Why can't I edit a lightbox?

I am updating a website built by someone else. They created a bunch of small lightbox widgets inside one large widget. When you open up each lightbox it shows an image gallery and information. There is 1 of the widgets that doesn't show any content (cannot be edited) in the lightbox when it is opened in design mode but when the site is exported the lightbox and it's contents are visible. Can someone please help me to understand why I can't find and edit this one widget?

Try this: Select the trigger of this lightbox, click onto the small blue circle top right and select "Show Lightbox Parts while Editing".
