Why does my text shift and my objects disappear in preview mode?

In design mode, the text on the upper left corner along with the orange rectangle seem fine like this: https://i.imgur.com/RCSG5FH.jpg

When I preview the site in my browser I get this: https://i.imgur.com/bMmvqhR.jpg

Any help would be appreciated.
