Couldn't open because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop

Been working on a drawing and saving it as a photoshop PDF over the last three days. Today when i went to open it after limch I am gettng the error message can't open existing location plan because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop, despite having been working on it all morning! Nothing I can do now!

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

The copy and paste from the sysem ibnfo is at the bottom. I used to always save as PSD but recently started doing it as a PDF just so I could send to people without Photoshop without having to export.
