P: Batch dialog box doesn't close after it has finished

When I run an acton through the batch dialog box the box doesn't close when done. I have to close and reopen the program)

running Adobe Photoshop Beta 25.8.0

Hi @NickWhiteThePhotographer does the same action work correctly on the Ps release version, is this only happening on Ps beta?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Hi Cory,

It doesn’t appear to be a problem in Photoshop App - only Beta.

AND more info - I realise that it is only happening if I switch between programmes while the Batch dialog is running. The first time I run a batch, the batch dialog box disappears virtually as soon as it starts running. The second time, it will stay on screen until the batch has completed. If I switch between programmes (using Cmd + tab) the dialog box refuses to go away. If I run a further batch, a new dialog box appears.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

@NickWhiteThePhotographer it is suggested to backup your prefs folder, or at least drag to the desktop before resetting due to the Actions issue you mention.

If the restart and new prefs do NOT solve the issue, you can replace your original folder and restart to have all your settings remain.

While initially I was able to reproduce this issue, I no longer am able to. Two things have changed and I wonder which may be more relevant. First, I using the latest version of the Beta (meaning a 26.x version instead of 25.x) and I've updated my Mac OS to Sequoia. I'm wondering if you've made similar updates and whether or not you still see the same old behavior.
