Hello,
I noticed this sporadically in previous versions after hours long sessions but it could be fixed with a restart of Photoshop. Now it does this from the start.
Issue1 - Brush Size: Holding ALT + mouse Right Click while using the brush tool to change size won't recognize buttons being released and still be in "brush size change mode" with everything unpressed.
So by moving mouse/pen without any keys pressed it still chances size until an input is made (click/keyboard). This happens in about 25-50% of times when using the tool. It happens with both mouse and pen (I'm using a Huion tablet, but also tested this with the mouse and it's the same behaviour).
This happens on QUICK brush changes mostly. For example, alt+right click and drag for half a second will trigger it a lot more than alt+right click+drag for 1-2 seconds.
Issue2 - Zoom: ALT doesn't matter on the zoom tool. Selecting the zoom tool, hold-press on the image, move mouse to zoom, and in 25-50% of the time Photoshop won't acknowledge the "unclick" and it will still be zooming with all the button unpressed.
Same for quick changes, I managed to trigger it more on quick changes. Maybe this will help in replicating it on your end.
I double checked that my mouse is not double-clicking (due to a faulty switch). Also, this happens with both buttons + pen&tablet in those two different actions (brush size + zoom) described above, making me believe it's not a hardware issue.
Sadly I will have to downgrade a version as it makes it unworkable although the new Generative Expand looks really nice.
Please let me know if I can provide more details.
Thank you,
Bogdan
