Background

On the Photoshop on the web (Beta) Home page, there is a Recent section which shows thumbnail previews of your Creative Cloud documents.

Description of Problem

If you revert to a previous version of your Creative Cloud document, the thumbnail preview in the Recent section of the Home page does not reflect that change. It only updates the thumbnail preview when the document is subsequently further edited and saved.

It should be noted that the correct version of the document is opened when you click on the out-of-date preview thumbnail. It is only the thumbnail preview that is not updated.

Steps to Reproduce

  1.  Open an existing Creative Cloud document, or create a new one.
  2.  Make a number of different edits to your document.
  3.  Click on the downward arrow next to the filename, and select the "Version history" choice in the menu that appears. Choose which version that you wish to revert back to, click the "..." icon next to that version, and then select the "Revert to this version" option from the sub-menu.
  4.  Return to the Photoshop for the web (Beta) Home page and view the preview thumbnail in the Recent section.

I have tested this in both Chrome and Edge browsers with the same result, so it appears that this is not a browser cache issue.

Setup

Photoshop on the web (Beta): 202206.12.0

System: macOS Monterey 12.4 MacBook Air (M1, 2020)

Browsers: Microsoft Edge Version 103.0.1264.44 (Official build) (arm64) and Google Chrome Version 103.0.5060.53 (Official Build) (arm64)
