  1. Version o24.6 m2181
  2. Windows 10

    I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz, 2101 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor with 64 gigs of RAM and 72 gigs of VRAM

  3. I just opened the app for the first time.
  4. The screen flickers and freezes when on graphics card acceleration. Disabling it in performance settings seems to fix the flicker and lag. I have this bug on standard PS as well.

Hi @brinzerdecalli instead of disabling GPU Go to Photoshop Preferences/Technology Preview and check “Disable Native Canvas”. Then check “Use Older GPU Mode (2016)”. Quit and relaunch PS.

NVIDIA Control Panel / 3D Settings / Manage 3D Settings / Program Settings

- Select Photoshop from list (if not add)

- Change Monitor Technology from GSYNC Compatible to Fixed Refresh

Then it is solved for Photoshop.
