Hi @MANUEL29576980hktd sorry to hear this.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

It is really annoying hof often I will have to do this. And it seems it's getting worse every update. I really can't understand why functions that were ok since decades suddenly won't work anymore properly. Since the last Update I have the issue that the tool not always, but in 99% jumps back to the first tool in the peticular list. Like if you do dodge and burn and you had the brun tool last in your hand, switch to another tool and then come vack again suddenly you have the dodge tool in the hand. This is new and never happened before.

I really get the feeling more and more that you people have not the slightest clue what is going on in your old program code and that the people who work on the program never work WITH the program!!

Its so embarrassing für such a big company that you always produce surprise bags with every update.

And the „solution“ to put the Settings folder back is no solution since I really have other things to do than always to play the nanny for Photoshop!!!! You know how much time you need to configurate everything new again!
