The only reason I have been opening 25.4 recently, is to test a response to a forum post, which is how I found myself in a situation where I was well into a project before encountering first the Pen tool Alt modifier, and then being unable to move contents between open documents. The second one kept me guessing for a couple of minutes before I remembered there was an issue, which was PD annoying.
I have mostly enjoyed working with the beta versions, and I 100% appreciate they are pre-release software, so I can only blame myself for getting into an irritating situation. The irony is that I still have it open as I was finding workarounds rather than save the projects and moving to 25.3.1. It would almost be worth putting up with using a Mac so you could have both versions open at the same time, (if that is true, and not an urban myth).
That's my we rant over. I feel better now. 😉
