Hi, I recently purchased the student plan and was looking for the beta apps section to use generative ai in Photoshop. I do not have the tab for Beta Apps in my CC Desktop app on windows or Mac. I also did not find a config xml file in OOBE. Has anyone faced this issue and solved it?

GF is not in Photoshop; it is only in Photoshop Beta. I'll move your post to the Beta forum.

  • If you got the student plan through your school, you need to talk to the school's IT department.
  • If you are under 18, the beta and GF are not available to you.

Hi, I just purhcased the plan myself and it made me fill out my information such as school and graduation date. I then got access to all the apps. I also signed in with google but now I have removed that and added a password to my adobe account. My plan is not managed by my school and I am over 18. Is there any way for me to fix this and be able to see the beta apps?

When the Beta apps are not showing (and you are not in a managed environment), you need to contact Adobe Customer Care. There are two ways:

Try the link to auto-open the Chat:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
Type "agent"

If your browser is blocking the Chat window, try the steps here:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services/how-to-contact-adobe-support/td-p/11875703

You can send a tweet to @AdobeCare

Do not reply to PMs, which are likely to be scammers.

Please let us know!
