CMYK inages crash the application when switch to full screen mode.

Hi @Philip Z we need a bit more info on this to be able to help. Does this happen on all CMYK files you try to open in Ps beta? What happens on Ps release version with this CMYK file? Does this only happen with CMYK files or all files...

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks Cory for replying, i am using the Beta Version, however it does the same thing in PS 2024 on both my M1 machine & my M2 machine. this has be happing for a while, i just don't go to full screen mode when i am working with a CMYK file.

What is your main scratch drive? The one that only has 12.9gb if it is your scratch drive should be around 100gb.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Ok yes Cory the internal HD is the 12gb free drive, the others are external SSD drives connected to the USB-C ports. I will free up space on the internal HD by moving stuff to the cloud. Is it ok to use external drives as scratch drives ?

Ok Cory I removed 93Gigs from the HD, launched BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
Shift+Command+Option. Opened up a RGB file converted it to CMYK and then entered full screen preview and PS crashed.

@Philip Z while you can use an external HD, it is always suggested to use the internal HD. With your chages we still see:

Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/ Photoshop scratch has async I/O enabled Scratch volume(s): Startup, 228.3G, 21.7G free

So you only freed up around 10gb on the internal HD? When Ps beta crashed, did you file the crash report and included your email? We can track the crash as long as we have an email tied to it. Let us know if you did report with email and if it was the email you have here on the forum or a different one.
