Could not complete your request because of a program error - reference image

Hello,

As the title says, I get an error when using generative fill with reference image.

Without reference image, everything works fine.

Tried on 2 different macs (mac mini m4, macbook m1 pro) lastest beta version 27.0.1, tried different reference images and occurs all the time.

OS 15.6.1 Sequoia

Reinstalled Beta version, removed all preferences, unticked gpu processing and nothing helped.

Hi @nick_videos could you share your workflow, ie open file, make selection, use gen.....?  We need to try to recreate the issue.  Does this happen with all files you try with, same reference image, or does it work with other reference images?

Make sure you are on the latest Ps Beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.0.1 20251012.m.3255 d971f80 arm64 (beta, PublicBeta)

Just did some more tests and it works with other references images . Need more clear photo of the photo so it can isolate the subject better. my guess is the reference I uploaded before  couldn't isolate the subject so the problem occurred .
