EXPORT AS in Photoshop undoes all edits in Lightroom Classic

I've noticed a strange new issue with Photoshop beta on Windows 11.  Here is what happens:

I'm in Lightroom Classic. I send a photo to edit in Photoshop Beta. I make my edits in Photoshop. I then do an EXPORT AS and save the image as a JPG.

When I go back to Lightroom Classic, I see that all of my edits to that image have been completely undone. I have to look at my HISTORY and choose the last step from there in order to get back my edits. 

This does not happen in the regular version of Photoshop.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?
