I'm using Photoshop Beta but the incessant update notification is driving me crazy!!!

One common feature of Adobe products is their insisistence on CONSTANTLY, INCESSANTLY BOMBARDING USERS WITH POP UPS. It's never-ending.

Adobe Acrobat is the worst for this, but don't get me started on that horrendous product.

ADOBE: Is it really necessary to ask people to download an update, but have the notification permanantly sticky right in their face when they're trying to work? I'm working remotely in a place with bad WIFI and can't move ahead now because I can't update and I have this rust coloured abomination on photoshop Beta in my face which I can't even move.

Who comes up with these ridiculous and moronic UX decisions?

What's more, when the hell are these 'features' on Beta going to be rolled out to regular photoshop? Why do you hate your users? Why do you make life hard? It's not as if we're not PAYING for this sevice?

Is it necessary to piss people off like this?

Photoshop Beta is updated about twice a week.

If you were to update it 5 weeks ago, you would not have updated it 10 times.

If you don't want to bother updating it, use the regular version of Photoshop, version 26.2.

What are these "features" you are talking about?

Also, these new features are in the testing phase, so you should refrain from using them in production.

You have to think about the purpose of the beta apps.  They are a bit like the pre-release versions, but Adobe put them out as an option for anyone with a subscription to use.  You have to appreciate that this is a devlopment aid for Adobe, getting them a significantly larger pool of people providing feedback.  The Development Team is constantly working on all aspects of the app, and they obviously need us to be testing an up to date version.

Do you think you might not be a good fit for the program?  If it annoys you, then try setting the updates to automatic.  I don't know how it works, but I usually work with the beta version and always leave it open, and it updates in the background.  I do sometimes see the orange Update pop-up, but I just close it if the timing is bad.

I think Photoshop Beta is asking me to update almost EVERY DAY now. It is constant.

That's just not true.  It's nearer to once a week.

[EDIT]  You can ignore the Update Available pop-ups, and the current version will keep working for at least another week, and probably a lot long than that.
