We are pleased to announce the introduction of “Search in Keyboard Shortcut Dialog”in Beta. It is available in the latest Beta build 25.12 20240824.m.2749
What is it?
We have added a new capability that enables users to swiftly search for application menu commands and existing shortcuts. This enhancement allows for quick identification and effortless addition or modification of shortcuts, streamlining the process of finding commands and assigning new shortcuts for an optimized user experience. The search bar also makes it easier for users to find the desired function without needing to know its exact name, and users can now find functions using related terms.
This newly introduced functionality applies to both Keyboard Shortcut and Menu, and is effective for Application Menus, Panel Menus, Tools and Taskspaces.
How to access this capability:
Select Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts... from the menu.
