Today when I launched Ps Beta, the startup screen showed version 1.0.7.
(My Photoshop Beta version is 26.5.0.)
Although there’s a note in the lower left corner about the 35th anniversary celebration, I thought something might be wrong—like a virus. Can someone confirm if this is normal?
Please forgive my nervousness and concerns
(I’ve had experiences with hackers in the past).
I'm using macOS 15+.

It's to celebrate Photoshop's 35 year anniversary, as you thought it might be. I can understand why a person might be worried about it. Especially if they had no clue about the 35 year thing. It's actually pretty cool.

It is not a virus and indeed a celebration of 35 years of Photoshop.

Thank you for your reply.
I took my screenshot from the 35th-anniversary webpage, but after asking some other Photoshop friends,
I realized that everyone’s startup screen is different from mine—it’s not PS 1.
So that’s why I got a bit worried.

It sounds like your friends have not updated. If they are ru nning 26.3.0 then I am pretty sure that they should be seeing the 35th Anniversary Splash Screen.

The special splash was in Ps (Beta) only, and for just a short time.

Thanks for the heads up Steve. I am going to wrap mine in tissue paper and put it in a dark cupboard, because thats going to be worth some dollars one day. Ot I might auction it on eBay as one of those non-fungible token (NFT) thingies. Yep, I think I'll go for the quick buck, as I am too old to wait.
Does this look genuine?
