Lag in photoshop version 23

My photoshop every time I move an image to another tab lag too much and also the images are not resizing the right size.

Can you provide a few more details on what the originating file dimensions are as well as the destination file dimensions?

Knowing this could help us figure out if the "small size" is correct or not. 

Would you also be able to provide Photoshop's Help > System Info text here to help with the team's investigations?

You know, looking again at your screenshot, it looks like the destination image dimensions are 226772x127559 pixels, which in a blank PSD form is already 78 GB large of a file. The lag you're experiencing is likely due to this file being so large I suspect.

Is this, 226772x127559 pixels, the correct new file dimensions that you're after in your testing?
