Since updating a few days ago to Photoshop (Beta) 25.1.0, I've had recurring issues.

Selecting an existing layer automatically makes it hidden, thus preventing editing it. If it's a text layer SOMETIMES creating a new blank layer above it turns off the hidden aspect.

If the existing layer is a graphic or library item, it's impossible to turn the hidden aspect off by the workaround outlined above.

Creating a new layer as often as not renders it hidden.

Opening the file in Photoshop 2024 retains the hidden layer.

Is there a solution or is Adobe working on solving this issue? This is very, very frustrating.

The file in question is a .psb is 3.77gb in size.
